The
heart of the Tailift turret press is its closed "O" frame. Fabricated
with premium steel and the latest welding technology, this ultra-rigid
frame reinforces a positive tool and die alignment throughout
the punching process. |
| |
|
|
|
| |
Advance
heat treating is utilized to stress relieve the frame. Consequently,
distortions resulting from the punching process are greatly
reduced insuring a consistance die clearance and a long tool
life.
Tailift engineer created the O frame using advanced structural
design techniques such as Finite. The result is a frame manufactured
with optimum dynamic characteristics.

When the sheet pulls out of the clamps, the machine will
stop automatically to protect the operator safety and
machine damage. |

The
table controlled by the CNC moves the workpiece in a high
speed in both X-and Y-directions. The slides move on hardended
precision linear guideways with anti-friction bearings and
are driven bu maintenance-free AC-servomotors.
The workpiece is fastened to the X-slide of the coordinate
table by 3patent clamps. The workpiece moves on the combined
floating ball and brush table.
The X-directional movement is based on a double-slide structure,
which enhances the stiffness, ensures a smooth operation,
and lengthens the life of the machine. this design also provide
high reliability and superb accuracy. A patent supporting
mechanism designed to reduce the deformation caused by the
mass itself of the ball screw enhance the dynamic performance
of operation. Moreover, the Static and Transient State Analyses
are adopted to ensure the high stiffness of the frame.
